Please carefully read below further under ''Organisation''.
Organisation
You can access this web page (pvmouche.deds.nl/uec-2023-2024.html) directly or via Brightspace.
My web page contains, in principle, everything (organisation, slides, additional material, ...) that You need for my contribution to the course.
I recommend to use this web page as there You can find updated and more fine information.
In this course i did my best to implement a part of the
content of the Chapters 1, 2, 3, 5 in the very well-written Text Book of J. Brueckner. (Free copy available at the WUR-library.)
The neoclassical ''story'' in the book is told and conceptualized in Slides A.
That in Chapter 5 is complemented with a game theoretical approach in Slides B that provides a route to ABM.
In addition Slides C highlight neoclassical assumptions.
Slides are self-contained and non-technical (whatever this means for the individual).
Below You can find two files, Exercises A and Exercises B, with exercises. And two files
Assignment A and Assignment B, containing individual assignments which together count for 30 percent to the final mark.
Besides working through the slides and visiting the meetings, it is a good idea to read the (relevant chapters of the) Text Book.
Doing this will enhance Your understanding and appreciation for the topics involved.
I take the freedom to update a little bit (improve) the slides during the course. (Updates only appear on this web page.)
All comments, even about typo's, very welcome.
I recommend to study (or at least to scan) the slides before the meetings.
You can contact me via email on pierre.vanmouche@wur.nl.
Finally, to be on the safe side: please regularly check the messages in the above ''Last news''.
